Mental Health Awareness Week

The Mental Health Foundation's (MHF) "Mental Health Awareness Week" for 2017 takes place this week, with the theme of Surviving or Thriving.


Since their first Mental Health Awareness Week in 2000 they have helped generate public debates around how anxiety, sleep deprivation and exercise can impact our mental health. Good mental health is more than the absence of a mental health problem. This Mental Health Awareness Week, 8-14 May 2017, MHF are looking at mental health from a new angle. Rather than ask why so many people are living with mental health problems, they will seek to uncover why too few of us are thriving with good mental health.

Get involved

Every year, thousands of supporters across the UK take part in Mental Health Awareness Week. You can get involved by thinking about ways that you can bring people together and to start having conversations around mental health. Why not invite your friends and colleagues to a wellbeing walk at lunch time? If you would like us to showcase anything on Juice then do get in touch.
