Health Matters Website

All staff at TUOS have access to the Health Matters website, available to help you look after your health in work and at home. It provides access to information, support and advice on a range of topics such as eating well, lowering your cholesterol, looking after your back, exercising, outdoor activities and preventing aches and pains whilst sitting at a desk. There are also a number of very useful links to other well-known sites where additional information is available.

What’s your health age? Find out with an online check, available on the Health Matters website (organisational code HM001).

Connect - Is bottling it up working for you?
Staff Helpline and Counselling Service

All staff have access to a staff helpline and counselling service which is free, independent, confidential and available 24 hours a day.The service is provided by an independent external provider, Health Assured, and is a means for all staff and their immediate families to access practical help, information, advice and support to address and resolve problems and issues they may be facing at home or at work.

Staff can also access the Health Assured website, an online resource containing engaging and useful information and advice. To access the Health Assured website enter the login details found here.

Juice Health Hub

Did you know that the Juice Platform hosts more than just activity bookings?

In the Health Hub, you can find an array of campaigns and articles, ranging from gardening to mindfulness. Linked to our 5 Ways to Wellbeing model, the Health Hub articles help you find ways to take notice, connect, keep learning, give and be active, both in the workplace and at home.

Juice activities are free!

Did you know that Juice activities are free to all staff?From book group to bootcamp, Juice offers a range of activities to support both your physical and mental wellbeing. With a current range of over 25 activities available, you are sure to find something you love!

Booking on is easy, simply log in to the Platform, choose your activity and click to book!

Be Active - Sport Sheffield memberships available
Sport Sheffield is closer than you think!

Juice works closely with Sport Sheffield to deliver activities for staff. With the Goodwin Sports Hall just a short walk from campus, why not fit in a lunch time activity to help break up the day? Hosting synthetic turf pitches, a multi-purpose sports hall, swimming pool, bouldering wall, squash courts, a tennis court and the superbly equipped S10health Fitness Centre, Sport Sheffield is the perfect place to take part in an activity you love.

If you’d like to take part in an activity that Juice does not currently offer, or you’d just like to do more of it, don’t forget that Sport Sheffield offers a range of ways to get involved - from Pay and Play activities to becoming a member of Sport Sheffield and receiving a subsidised staff rate for use of the gym, swimming pool and all fitness classes.To see the activities and facilities they have to offer, visit the Sport Sheffield website.
